Arsenal will be looking to get back on track when they take on Everton at the Emirates on Sunday afternoon. Here is the side Gooner Mac thinks Arsene Wenger will select:

Goalkeeper: There have been calls for Wojceich Szczesny to be reinstated in goal after our disappointing 3-1 loss against Monaco in midweek but while I do think David Ospina could have done better with a couple of the goals, I don’t see Arsene dropping him just yet.

Defence: Per Mertesacker had a game to forget on Wednesday and Arsene has confirmed there will be changes to the line-up, so I think we might see Gabriel come into the defence. Nacho Monreal is also expected to replace Kieran Gibbs at left-back but Hector Bellerin should keep his place on the right ahead of Calum Chambers.

Midfield: Francis Coquelin will once again start in the holding role as Mathieu Flamini has only just returned to training following a hamstring problem while Mikel Arteta is still weeks away from fitness. The game also comes too soon for Aaron Ramsey while Jack Wilshere is out for around a week after undergoing a minor operation on his ankle. Therefore, Arsene has limited options to change things in central midfield this weekend. Tomas Rosicky or Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could be in his thoughts but I think we’ll see Santi Cazorl and Mesut Ozil given another chance to impress after their poor displays on Wednesday night.

Attack: Alexis Sanchez is an obvious starter and I think we’ll see Olivier Giroud keep his place up front despite his disastrous performance in midweek. Wenger likes to play players through difficult periods so I’d expect to see the Frenchman once again lead the line on Sunday. Theo Walcott could come back into the side after being left out against Monaco with Danny Welbeck the man to make way.

Here is how I think we’ll see Arsenal line-up:

What do you think? What line-up would you like to see start?
