Wenger Makes 4 Changes: Predicted Arsenal Starting XI To Take On West Ham

Arsenal will be looking to cement their place in the top three when we take on West Ham at the Emirates on Saturday afternoon. Here is our predicted team

Aaron Ramsey

Arsenal will be looking to cement their place in the top three when we take on West Ham at the Emirates on Saturday afternoon. Here is the side Gooner Mac thinks Arsene Wenger will select:

Goalkeeper: The boss started Wojceich Szczesny for Monday’s FA Cup win over Manchester United but I think we’ll see David Ospina once again restored between the sticks on Saturday.

Defence: Gabriel Paulista remains out with a hamstring injury so Laurent Koscielny will once again start alongside Per Mertesacker at the back with Hector Bellerin expected to keep his place on the right side of defence. Nacho Monreal was excellent against United and if Wenger plans to start him against Monaco on Tuesday, we may see the Spaniard given a rest with Kieran Gibbs coming in at left-back.

Midfield: Francis Coquelin will continue in the holding role after another excellent display at Old Trafford and I think we might see Aaron Ramsey come back into the team alongside Santi Cazorla in midfield. Jack Wilshere and Mikel Arteta are still out injured.

Attack: With Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain ruled out with a hamstring injury we could see Mesut Ozil moved out to the right wing to make room for Ramsey. If Arsene opts to stick with Ozil in the middle, then Theo Walcott or Danny Welbeck could fill the gap out wide. Olivier Giroud is expected to be recalled up front while Alexis Sanchez will once again start from the left side of attack.

Here is how I think we’ll see Arsenal line-up:

What do you think? What line-up would you like to see start?
