[Tweets & Photos] Ramsey, Ozil & Gabriel Celebrate Online After Beating Newcastle

Arsenal continued their excellent recent run of form after beating Newcastle 2-1 at St James’ Park this afternoon.

Olivier Giroud hit a first half double and although the Geordies pulled one back early after half time, we managed to hold to to secure a vital three points.

The win sees us open up a four-point gap from Manchester United while second-placed Manchester City are just one point ahead, so we’re in great shape heading into the international break.

It’s no wonder then that some of the players have taken to Twitter to celebrate our sixth consecutive Premier League victory this evening.

Mesut Ozil – who missed the game through illness – congratulated his team on reaching 60 points and told his followers that he hopes to return as soon as possible.

Aaron Ramsey also hailed the effort of the players today while he thanked the travelling fans for making the journey to the North East, while Gabriel Paulista uploaded a photo of several of the players celebrating in the changing room after the game.
