[Video Goals] Leicester 1-3 Chelsea: Blues On Brink Of Title After Comeback Win

By on April 29, 2015

Chelsea are on the brink of winning the Premier League title after coming from a goal down to beat Leicester City 3-1 at the King Power on Wednesday night.

The hosts took a shock lead just before half-time when Marc Albrighton was on hand to stroke home a cross from Jamie Vardy in the 45th minute.

However, the Blues levelled things up shortly after the break when Didier Drogba swept home Branislav Ivanovic’s cut back for 1-1.

Chelsea then made it 2-1 when John Terry poked home from close range after Garry Cahill’s header was saved before Ramires smashed home into the top corner from the edge of the box to seal the win.

The victory sees Chelsea go 13 points clear at the top of the table with four games to play meaning Arsenal – who have a game in hand – are the only team capable of preventing the Blues from reclaiming the title, and even that slim possibility will be removed if Jose Mourinho’s men beat Crystal Palace this weekend.
