Several of the Manchester United squad have posted end-of-season messages to supporters on social media sites this evening.

United ended their Premier League season with a disappointing 0-0 draw at Hull City on Sunday afternoon with Marouane Fellaini seeing red after a late challenge on Chester in the second half.

Despite the draw, Louis van Gaal’s men achieved their target of finishing in the top four so they’ll return to the Champions League with a two-legged play off awaiting in August before they can reach the group stages.

Some of the players have now taken to social media this evening to post their end-of-season messages to the fans with Victor Valdes, Chris Smalling, Phil Jones, Ander Herrera and Ashley Young all having their say on Twitter while Wayne Rooney also took to Facebook to have his say on the campaign.

Check out what the players have had to say:

Thanks to all the fans for your amazing support this season, appreciate it all. Disappointed not to get the 3 points today but we will be back stronger next season!
