Manchester United forward Anthony Martial put in a Man of the Match performance as France beat Denmark 2-1 in a friendly last night.

The 19-year-old has been in impressing at Old Trafford since making a big-money move from Monaco on transfer deadline day in the summer and he continued to build his reputation with another superb outing for his country.

Martial started in attack alongside Olivier Giroud and he played a key role in the opening goal as he set-up the Arsenal striker to make it 1-0 in the fourth minute of the game.

The United attacker was a constant threat throughout the match with his pace and dribbling ability causing the Danish defence all sorts of problems.

Martial was eventually substituted in the 88th minute after putting in a MOTM performance to help France to a 2-1 win in Copenhagen.

United fans will no doubt be glad to see their wonderkid continuing his form for his country and it will also be a relief that he’s come through the international break unscathed.
