All eyes will be on Jurgen Klopp as he takes charge of Liverpool for the first time when the Reds take on Tottenham at White Hart Lane on Saturday lunchtime. Here is the side I think the German will pick:

Goalkeeper: Simon Mignolet is expected to be retained as number one under the Klopp regime so Adam Bodgan will continue as reserve.

Defence: The German used a 4-2-3-1 formation at Borussia Dortmund and is expected to implement a similar system at Anfield so we should see him ditch Brendan Rodgers’ three at the back and revert to a flat back four.

Nathaniel Clyne is almost certain to be the right-back with Martin Skrtel and Mamadou Sakho favourites to keep their places at centre-back despite Dejan Lovren shaking off an ankle injury.

Joe Gomez has been ruled out for the season after suffering a serious knee injury so Alberto Moreno should start at left-back.

Midfield: Skipper Jordan Henderson remains out with a foot injury so we could see German international Emre Can play alongside Lucas Leiva in the center of midfield.

Attack: That would see James Milner deployed on the right wing as Klopp is known to like his wingers to be hard working and that should suit the England ace perfectly.

Adam Lallana could start on the left wing while Philippe Coutinho is back in training after shaking off a minor groin injury so he’ll start in the No.10 role.

Liverpool have been rocked by the news that Danny Ings has been ruled out for the season with a serious knee injury so he joins Christian Benteke and Roberto Firmino on the sidelines.

The duo are close to making their comeback’s from injury but the trip to White Hart Lane will come too soon. Therefore, Daniel Sturridge will lead the line up front.

Here is how I think we’ll see Liverpool line-up:

What do you think? What line-up would you like to see start?
