By on October 25, 2015

Harry Kane scored a hat-trick as Tottenham came from behind to thrash Bournemouth 5-1 on Sunday afternoon.

The hosts got off to the perfect start when Matt Richie fired past Hugo Lloris at the near post for 1-0 in the opening minute of the game.

However, Spurs quickly levelled things up as Kane got his first from the spot after Artur Boruc brought the striker down in the area. Kane dusted himself off to make it 1-1 in the 9th minute.

Tottenham then took the lead through Moussa Dembele before Erik Lamela proded home the third from close range after Boruc had spilled a routine cross in the 29th minute.

Kane then made it 4-1 with a clinical finish from a Christian Eriksen delivery before he completed his hat-trick with another close range finish after Boruc had spilled yet another simple save.

The win lifts Spurs up to sixth and just three points adrift of fourth-placed Manchester United.
