Arsenal kept pace with Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table thanks to a 3-0 victory over Swansea City at the Liberty this afternoon.

After a poor first half, Arsenal came to life after the break and eased to victory thanks to goals from Olivier Giroud, Laurent Koscielny and Joel Campbell with Mesut Ozil setting up all three.

Here are my ratings from the game:

Cech 7.5/10 | Another assured performance. Made two or three decent saves and did well to put off Gomis when the striker was clean through.

Bellerin 7/10 | Struggled at times against Montero but produced a goal-saving tackle to deny Gomis a tap in.

Mertesacker 7/10 | His lack of pace was exposed in the first half as we played a high line but improved after the break. Made a couple of important blocks.

Koscielny 7.5/10 | On hand to score the vital second goal after a mistake from Fabianski and was superb in defence all afternoon.

Monreal 7/10 | Another solid shift from the ever-reliable Spaniard.

Coquelin 6.5/10 | Struggled a little in the first half but like many of his colleagues he improved during the second 45 minutes.

Cazorla 7/10 | Couldn’t dictate play as he usually does early on but improved as the game wore on and was very influential after the break.

Ozil 8.5/10 | Outstanding second half from the German. Assisted all three goals and led Arsenal to victory. MOTM

Campbell 7/10 | Worked hard for the team and although he didn’t release the ball quick enough at times, he got a well deserved goal with a fine finish.

Sanchez 6.5/10 | Low key performance from the usually brilliant Chilean. Things just didn’t go his way today but he still kept the home defence occupied and worked hard.

Giroud 7.5/10 | Missed a sitter in the first half but made amends with a fine headed goal. Going to be an important player over the next week.

It was certainly a game of two halves but we stuck in there and got our rewards in the end. Ozil was excellent after the break and stepped up when we needed him the most. Bayern Munich up next, let’s hope we’ve got enough left in the tank….
