[Tweets & Photos] Rooney, De Gea & More: Players Celebrate Online After Man Utd Win

Manchester United players have been celebrating online after they gave their hopes of qualifying for the knockout stages of the Champions League a major boost with a 1-0 victory over CSKA Moscow last night.

The Red Devils dominated the game but as the final ten minutes approached it looked as though they could be heading for yet another frustrating 0-0 draw – which would have been their fourth in succession.

However, Wayne Rooney finally broke the deadlock in the 79th minute when he powered home a header from close range to secure a 1-0 victory which moved United top of Group B and on course to qualifying for the last 16.

Several of the players have taken to social media sites to celebrate the victory with David De Gea, Andreas Pereira, Chris Smalling, Antonio Valencia, Daley Blind, Ashley Young, Marcos Rojo, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Luke Shaw all sharing photos and message on Twitter.

Skipper and goal-scorer Wayne Rooney also took to his Facebook page to celebrate the win and to thank the fans for the great support throughout the game.
