Tottenham entertain Chelsea at White Hart Lane on Sunday afternoon. Here’s a preview with team news, likely line-ups, betting tips and predicted score.

tottenham news

Tottenham will look to extend their unbeaten run when they take on Chelsea at White Hart Lane on Sunday afternoon.

Spurs head into the game having not lost in 12 league outings with their last defeat coming at Manchester United on the opening day of the season so they’ll be keen to maintain that run tomorrow.

The North Londoners eased to a 4-1 victory over West Ham last weekend to close to within just two points of fourth-placed Arsenal so Mauricio Pochettino will be hoping to leapfrog their rivals with a win at the Lane.

Chelsea meanwhile head across London looking to continue their mini-revival after winning their last two games following their disastrous start to their Premier League title defence.

However, despite last weeks 1-0 win over Norwich, the Blues still sit 15th in the table and just four points above the relegation zone so Jose Mourinho will be desperate to pick up a positive result tomorrow afternoon.

Team news

Tottenham will be without the services of Deli Alli as the midfielder is suspended after collecting his fifth booking of the season last week. Ryan Mason is set to come in.

Kyle Walker, Danny Rose and Mousa Dembele should be recalled to the starting eleven after being rested for Thursday’s Europa League win over Qarabag but Nacer Chadli, Nabil Bentaleb and Alex Pritchard remain sidelined.

Chelsea are sweating on the fitness of skipper John Terry after he was stretchered off with an ankle injury during Tuesday’s 4-0 win at Maccabi Tel Aviv so Gary Cahill could partner Kurt Zouma in defence.

Cesc Fabregas is fit despite a minor toe injury but Ramires is a doubt after suffering a muscle injury prior to the Champions League game in midweek. Radamel Falcao and Thibaut Courtois remain unavailable.

Predicted Score

Tottenham 2-2 Chelsea: Chelsea are certainly nowhere near the side they were last season while Spurs are in excellent form of late. However, I think Thursday’s trip to Azerbaijan will take a lot out of Tottenham so can see this one ending in a score draw.

Betting Tips

The bookmakers are struggling to separate the two teams but Football-Talk can get you enhanced odds of 8/1 on either a Spurs or Chelsea win tomorrow if you click here. But I think it will be a draw and my prediction of 2-2 is on offer at 12/1 and I also like the look of Kane opening the scoring at odds of 11/2. If you combined those two bets in a score-cast then we get very tempting odds of 65/1.
