[Video Highlights] Arsenal 0-0 Southampton: Frustrated Gunners Slip To Fourth

Arsenal’s title challenge took a major blow after they were held to a frustrating 0-0 draw by Southampton at the Emirates on Tuesday night.

The Gunners started slowly but could have taken the lead in the first half after Mesut Ozil was twice denied by Frazer Forster in the Saints goal as it ended 0-0 at the break.

We improved in the second half and managed to create a number of golden opportunities with Laurent Koscielny perhaps missing the best as he headed over from close range when it looked easier to score than miss the target.

Alexis Sanchez, Olivier Giroud and Theo Walcott were also denied by the impressive Forster as Southampton held on much to the frustration of Arsene Wenger and his men.

With Spurs, Leicester and Man City all winning, we’ve slipped to fourth in the table and are now five points adrift of the leaders with 14 games left to play.
