[Tweets & Photos] Players Celebrate Online As Tottenham Go Second With Watford Win

Several of the Tottenham Hotspur players have been celebrating on Twitter after Spurs moved second in the Premier League with a win over Watford today.

Kieran Trippier scored the only goal of the game as Tottenham Hotspur beat Watford 1-0 at White Hart Lane on Saturday afternoon to climb up to second spot in the Premier League table.

After a frustrating goalless opening forty-five minutes, Spurs finally broke the deadlock as Dele Alli’s superb cross found Trippier at the far post and the full-back made no mistake to tap home to score what turned out to be the winner [you can watch the goal and highlights here].

The result saw Tottenham leapfrog Manchester City in to second place in the Premier League table and Mauricio Pochettino’s men remain five points adrift of leaders Leicester City after their stunning win at the Etihad earlier today.

Following the game, several Tottenham players have taken to Twitter this evening to celebrate another vital victory with Jan Vertonghen, Toby Alderweireld, Erik Lamela, Ben Davies, Eric Dier, Mousa Dembele, Harry Kane, Kieran Trippier and Kevin Wimmer all reacting to the win.
