Referees Announced For FA Cup Games Involving Man Utd, Arsenal, Spurs & More

By on February 16, 2016

Chelsea, Manchester City, Arsenal, Spurs and Man Utd have all found out who’ll be in charge of their FA Cup fifth round games this coming weekend….

The Football Association have confirmed which referees will be in charge of this weekend’s FA Cup fifth round games and Andre Marriner has been handed the huge clash between Chelsea and Manchester City.

The Blues welcome City to Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon for the stand-out contest of the fifth round phase and the visitors will be hoping for better luck this time around after feeling aggrieved that Tottenham were awarded a pivotal penalty during their 2-1 loss on Sunday.

League Two Shrewsbury Town entertain Premier League giants Manchester United on Monday night and Robert Madley will be the man in the middle at New Meadow.

Arsenal fans have been venting their frustrations on social media after Mike Dean was put in charge of the North Londoners fifth round clash against 2014 finalists Hull City. It’s the first time Dean will take charge of an Arsenal game since controversially sending Gabriel off during their defeat to Chelsea in September.

Tottenham Hotspur will look to take one step closer to a Wembley final when they welcome Crystal Palace to White Hart Lane on Sunday and Craig Pawson will be in charge of that game while Martin Atkinson will oversee Bournemouth vs Everton.
