[Video Goals] Hull 0-4 Arsenal: Giroud & Walcott On Target As Gunner Tame Tigers

By on March 8, 2016

Arsenal booked their place in the quarter finals of the FA Cup with a comfortable 4-0 victory over Hull City at the KC Stadium.

The first half was largely a forgettable affair but sprung to life thanks to a shocking error from David Meyler as his poor back-pass fell straight to Olivier Giroud and the striker made no mistake to give Arsenal the lead in the 41st minute.

Kieran Gibbs almost made it 2-0 shortly after but saw his superb long-range effort come back off the top of the crossbar as we went in to the break leading 1-0.

We had to wait until the 71st minute to double our lead when Giroud volleyed home Theo Walcott’s cross for 2-0 and it was 3-0 shortly after as Walcott slotted home after being found by a superb Joel Campbell pass.

Walcott then wrapped up the win with a deflected fourth late on as Arsenal booked their place in the last eight of the FA Cup, where we’ll now host Watford at the Emirates on Sunday.
