By on May 2, 2016

Chelsea came from two-goals down to draw 2-2 with Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge on Monday evening, handing the Premier League title to Leicester City.

Things looked to be going well for Spurs after they opened the scoring in the 35th minute when Harry Kane beat the offside trap to round Asmir Begovic and cooly slot home in to the empty net for 0-1.

The North Londoners looked to be on course to securing the vital three points they needed to keep their title dreams alive when made it 2-0 on the stroke of half-time as Hueng-min Son got the second in the 44th minute.

However, Chelsea pulled one back shortly after the break as Gary Cahill turned home a Willian corner to make it 1-2 in the 58th minute and the home crowd erupted as Eden Hazard curled home a stunner in the 83rd minute to make it 2-2.

A frantic final ten minutes brought more bookings than chances as tempers boiled over with the final score finishing 2-2, which means Leicester City are Premier League champions 2015/16.
