Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal will resist the temptation to field a weakened side when they play their rescheduled Premier League clash with Bournemouth at Old Trafford on Tuesday night.

Sunday’s final league game of the season was postponed due to a bomb blunder that saw a training device left in a toilet. United now have the advantage of knowing they no longer stand a realistic chance of finishing fourth [unless they win 19-0] but van Gaal is expected to field his strongest side as United need a point to finish fifth and avoid a possible Europa League qualifier at the end of July.

Here is the side I think van Gaal will pick:

Goalkeeper: David de Gea is certain to keep his place in goal despite being at fault for the West Ham winner last week.

Defence: Matteo Darmian has been ruled out with an ankle injury that he suffered last weekend so Antonio Valencia is likely to continue at right-back. Marcos Rojo is also a major doubt after picking up a knock in training so Cameron Borthwick-Jackson should start at left-back while Daley Blind should start alongside Chris Smalling.

Midfield: Marouane Fellaini continues to miss out through suspension but Michael Carrick is expected to come back in to the starting eleven after being a substitute at West Ham last time out. Morgan Schneiderlin is suffering from illness so Wayne Rooney could be deployed in a deeper role with Ander Herrera dropping out. Bastian Schweinsteiger will miss the rest of the season with a knee injury.

Attack: Jesse Lingard could come back in to the side with Juan Mata moving in to the No.10 role behind Marcus Rashford while Anthony Martial should continue in attack after scoring twice at Upton Park.

Ashley Young will return to training on Saturday and could make the bench but Adnan Januzaj has been ruled out after picking up a knock in training.

Here is how we think United will line-up:

BACK MAN UTD TO WIN AT CRAZY ODDS OF 10/1 + MONEY BACK IF YOU LOSE

What do you think? What line-up would you like to see start?
