Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho scored a superb hat-trick as Brazil thrashed Haiti in their Copa America Group B encounter in Orlando last night.

Coutinho has just come off the back of an impressive season on Merseyside with the 23-year-old sweeping the honours at the clubs end of season awards ceremony.

It looks like the attacker has taken that form in to this summers Copa America as Coutinho was on fire for Brazil last night as they recovered from their opening draw with Ecuador by thrashing Haiti.

Coutinho opened the scoring in the 14th minute with a stunning effort from 20-yards as he fired in to the bottom corner having ghosted past two defenders before the Liverpool man tapped home from close range to make it 2-0 in the 28th minute.

Renato Augusto scored twice for Dunga’s side, while Gabriel and Lucas Lima also netted for the impressive Brazilians with Haiti’s solitary goal coming from James Marcelin while Coutinho sealed his stunning treble with a late curler to complete the rout.
