Liverpool are the latest club to unveil one of their kits ahead of next season after announcing their 2016/17 away kit on Liverpoolfc.com this morning.

The strip is part of the ‘Made for Liverpool’ campaign which has been created by kit manufacturer New Balance and is supposed to reflect on what it means to be an LFC fan.

As you can see from the photos, the kit is all black with silver detailing around the collar while the New Balance, Standard Chartered and LFC logos are also decorated in silver. There is red detailing down the sides while there is also a tribute to the team that won the European Cup back in 1977 at the bottom of the shirt.

The kit has been developed using NB Dry technology – a moisture wicking fabric that will help keep the players dry and cool during the game – while there is also a gradiated mesh to the back of the shirt to ensure improved air flow.

The goalkeeper kit is orange with black detailing on the shoulders and I’m sure Liverpool fans will be excited to see new signing Loris Karius donning the new shirt next season.
