[Teams] Wigan vs Man Utd: Mkhitaryan & Bailly Start For Red Devils

Jose Mourinho takes charge of his first game as Manchester United manager as the Red Devils kick off their pre-season preparations with a friendly against Wigan Athletic at the DW Stadium this afternoon.

New signing Eric Bailly starts in defence alongside Daley Blind and Timonthy Fosu-Mensah while Luke Shaw makes his long-awaited comeback from injury with a start at left-back.

Michael Carrick and Ander Herrera start in midfield along with Jesse Lingard while Henrikh Mkhitaryan makes his bow following his big-money move from Borussia Dortmund.

Memphis Depay starts in attack while James Wilson leads the line up front with the likes of Ashley Young, Phil Jones and Antonio Valencia joining several youngsters on the bench.
