[Video Goals] Burton 0-5 Liverpool: Sturridge Nets Brace As Reds Progress

Liverpool booked their place in the third round of the EFL Cup after beating Burton Albion 5-0 at the Pirelli Stadium on Tuesday night.

The visitors opened the scoring in the 15th minute when Divock Origi found the net with a cheeky back-heel from close range after being set-up by Sadio Mane before Roberto Firmino doubled Liverpool’s advantage with a 22nd minute header.

Tom Naylor put through his own net to make it 3-0 midway through the second half before Sturridge came off the bench to make it 4-0 with a close range finish in the 78th minute.

The England international wrapped-up the scoring after firing in to the bottom corner to make it 5-0 in the 83rd minute after great work from Mane to book Liverpool’s place in the next round.
