United dominated the game throughout but struggled to breakdown a stubborn Hull defence and it needed a late strike from substitute Marcus Rashford to collect the three points.
The teenager made a huge impact after coming off the bench and grabbed the winner after tapping home from close range following great work from Wayne Rooney down the left.
The win ensures United maintain their 100% record this season have won all three of their Premier League games so far and Jose Mourinho’s men sit top of the table, level on points with Chelsea.
Understandably some of the players have been celebrating on social media after the game with David De Gea, Antonio Valencia, Eric Bailly, Ander Herrera, Wayne Rooney, Michael Carrick, Marcus Rashford, Paul Pogba and Ashley Young all posting messages and photos on Twitter and Instagram.
