Chelsea will look to get back to winning ways following their draw at Swansea City when they take on Liverpool at Stamford Bridge on Friday night. Here is the side we think Antonio Conte will select for the game:

Goalkeeper: Thibaut Courtois is expected to keep his place between the sticks against Liverpool with Asmir Begovic once again on the bench.

Defence: Chelsea have suffered a major injury blow with the news that skipper John Terry has been ruled out for 10 days with an ankle injury that he picked up during the closing stages of last weekend’s draw at the Liberty Stadium.

Conte has confirmed that in Terry’s absence, David Luiz will make his second debut for the club after completing a return to west London from Paris Saint-Germain on deadline day.

Marcos Alonso is also pushing to make his first start for Chelsea but Conte says he’s still a week away so Cesar Azpilicueta is expected to keep his place at left-back with Branislav Ivanovic at right-back.

Midfield: Cesc Fabregas continues to be frozen out of the starting eleven and despite Conte suggesting the Spaniard remains in his plans, I think we’ll once again see the midfielder named among the substitutes on Friday night.

N'Golo Kante Chelsea

Nemanja Matic is likely keep his place alongside Oscar in midfield with N’Golo Kante sitting in the holding role in front of the back four.

Attack: Conte has no other injury concerns to worry about and with the team not in any European competition, they can focus on the league and play their strongest side so I don’t think we’ll see any changes in attack meaning Diego Costa will continue to lead the line with Willian and Eden Hazard in support.

If Conte needs to mix things up during the game then he’ll have the likes of Michy Batshuayi, Pedro and Victor Moses to call upon from the bench.

Here is how I think we’ll see Chelsea line-up:
