[Video Goals] Crystal Palace 2-4 Liverpool: Firmino On Target As Reds Win Thriller

Liverpool moved back level on points at the top of the Premier League table after beating Crystal Palace 4-2 in a thriller at Selhurst Park on Saturday night.

The visitors opened the scoring in the 16th minute when Emre Can’s effort deflected past Mandanda in the Palace for before the hosts levelled things up just two minutes later when James McArthur headed home following a sliced clearance from Dejan Lovren.

Liverpool restored their lead within minutes when Lovren made amends for his earlier mistake with a powerful header from a Philippe Coutinho corner to make it 1-2 in the 21st minute.

Palace hit back once again when McArthur headed home ahead of Lovren to make it 2-2 in the 33rd minute but the Merseysiders restored their advantage on the stroke of half-time through a Joel Matip header.

Liverpool then wrapped up the three points when Roberto Firmino scored a superb chipped finish following a lovely throughball from Jordan Henderon in the 71st minute to seal a 4-2 victory.

The win sees Liverpool move back to third position and level on points with leaders Manchester City and Arsenal at the top of the table.
