Chelsea attacker Eden Hazard has beaten off competition from the likes of Arsenal’s Theo Walcott and Tottenham’s Dele Alli to be named as the PFA Fans’ Player of the Month for October.

Hazard has rediscovered his best form under new boss Antonio Conte with the Belgian international scoring three goals last month, including a superb solo effort during Sunday’s 2-0 win over Southampton.

The 25-year-old also netted during comprehensive wins against Manchester United and Leicester City to help Chelsea climb up the Premier League table and to within just one point of leaders Manchester City.

Hazard’s excellent form saw him nominated for the PFA Fans’ Player of the Month and it was confirmed earlier today that he scooped the award after getting over 27,000 of the votes.

Arsenal’s Theo Walcott came in second after receiving nearly 15,000 votes having scored three times for the in-form Gunners last month to help Arsene Wenger’s men stay level on points with City at the top of the table.
