[Tweets & Photos] Man Utd Players Celebrate Online After Late Win Over Palace

By on December 15, 2016

Some of the Manchester United players have been celebrating on social media after they secured a vital late 2-1 win over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Wednesday night.

United opened the scoring in controversial circumstances when Zlatan Ibrahimovic set-up an offside Paul Pogba with his arm for the French midfielder to fire home for 0-1 just before half-time.

Palace levelled things up with a fine goal midway through the second half but United won it at the death as Pogba set-up Ibrahimovic with a superb through-ball and the Swede made no mistake to seal the three points.

The win sees United remain sixth in the Premier League but they are now just seven points adrift of third-placed Arsenal so it’s getting tight at the business end of the table as we approach the half-way stage of the season.

Some of the players have now been offering their reaction to the result on social media with Man of the Match Pogba taking to his official Instagram account to hail a ‘great win’ for United.

Luke Shaw, Michael Carrick, Ander Herrera, Matteo Darmian, Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata, Daley Blind and David De Gea have also posted messages and photos to their Twitter accounts.
