By on December 26, 2016

Chelsea extended their lead at the top of the table to nine points after easing to a 3-0 victory over Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge this afternoon.

The Blues started brightly and opened the scoring in fine style as Pedro rewarded Antonio Conte for starting him up front in the absence of Diego Costa by curling home a superb left-footed effort in to the top corner from the edge of the box.

The hosts were then given the perfect opportunity to double their advantage when Francis fouled Hazard in the area. The Belgian international dusted himself off to convert from 18 yards to make it 2-0 shortly after half-time.

Chelsea then wrapped up the three points when Pedro’s deflected effort found it’s way in to the back of the net in stoppage time to secure a 3-0 win which sees the West Londoners move nine points clear of Liverpool at the top of the table.
