[Teams] Liverpool vs Stoke: Confirmed Line-ups

Liverpool will look to close the gap on Premier League leaders Chelsea when they welcome Stoke City to Anfield this evening.

Jurgen Klopp has decided to start Roberto Firmino in attack despite the Brazilian international’s drink driving arrest on Christmas Eve while Divock Origi keeps his place up front with Daniel Sturridge among the substitutes.

Simon Mignolet keeps goal once again with Ragnar Klavan starting alongside Dejan Lovren after Joel Matip was deemed not fit enough to return from an ankle injury that’s kept him out of the last two games.

Gini Wijnaldum also keeps his place in midfield alongside Adam Lallana and Jordan Henderson with Emre Can on the bench.
