[Video goals] Watford 1-4 Tottenham: Alli & Kane Run Riot As Spurs Go 3rd

Tottenham Hotspur climbed up to third spot in the Premier League table after thrashing sorry Watford 4-1 at Vicarage Road this afternoon.

Spurs dominated from the outset and opened the scoring midway through the first half when Harry Kane beat Gomes at his near post a tight angle for 0-1.

The visitors doubled their advantage just minutes later when Kieran Trippier set-up Kane with a superb cross from the right and the England international poked home in the 33rd minute.

The three points were then secured when Dele Alli made it 3-0 shortly before half time as the midfielder fired home from close range following poor defending from Watford.

Tottenham made it 4-0 just after half-time when Kane found an unmarked Alli in the area and the youngster cooly slotted home at the near post in the 46th minute.

Watford pulled one back in stoppage time as Younes Kaboul scored against his former side but Spurs eased to  4-1 win which sees them climb above Arsenal and Manchester City in to third spot ahead of the Gunners’ clash with Crystal Palace this afternoon.
