One thing is for certain that with Klopp in charge the players will give their all to attempt to achieve this.

In a recent interview with former Reds player Jamie Redknapp for Sky Sports, Klopp insisted that the team is fully equipped to go all the way this season. He went on to say that he wants both the supporters and players to fully focus on the present and not the failing of the past 26 campaigns.

Klopp wants the focus to be on the new generation and not the ones of the past. The German manager believes that the team is now good enough to make a genuine push to claim the title this season. He believes that they have everything in place and that the owners are vital to this as they do not want to sell their best players. Even though Liverpool are not the highest paying club in terms of wages they are able to pay them enough to stay at the club.

Liverpool are playing some of their best football in years and Klopp wants the players and fans to use this momentum to bring the title back to Anfield. He believes that the present along with the future is extremely bright and nothing should hold them back from achieving their title ambitions.

Liverpool’s form against the top teams in the league this season has been fantastic and have victories over both Arsenal and Chelsea so far this campaign. What has cost them dearly though is losses to both Bournemouth and Burnley.

Klopp believes that with a bit of luck which every team needs to win the EPL along with no more injury setbacks that the team will be competing for the title come the end of the season. The Manchester United team under Sir Alex Ferguson were able to win many points in the last-minute of games and Klopp puts this down to a moment of individual quality. He wants his players to be ready for these moments so that they can take as many points as possible in their push for the title.

Klopp went on to say that he felt that Chelsea had performed the best so far this season but there were still plenty of games to play. He believes that there will be many twists to come in the race for the title this campaign.

Klopp believes that Chelsea has had more luck than the other teams chasing the title and have been lucky with player injuries. Liverpool has suffered losses to key players through injury with players such as Daniel Sturridge, Danny Ings and Philippe Coutinho all long-term absentees. The German manager believes that if Chelsea had suffered the same with key men such as Diego Costa and Eden Hazard, things would be very different at the top of the Premier League.
