[Teams] Hull City vs Liverpool: Confirmed Line-Ups

By on February 4, 2017

Liverpool need to get back to winning ways following a poor run of form in January when they travel to the KCOM Stadium to take on Hull City this afternoon.

Jurgen Klopp has been forced in to a change at the back as Dejan Lovren misses out through injury while Ragnar Klavan isn’t involved due to illness so Lucas Leiva partners Joel Matip at the back.

Emre Can is preferred to Gini Wijnaldum as he partners Jordan Henderson and Adam Lallana in midfield while Sadio Mane returns to the starting eleven as he supports Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino in attack.

Here are the confirmed line-ups:

Hull City

Jakupovic, Elabdellaoui, Dawson, Maguire, Robertson, Grosicki, Evandro, LOKI, Clucas, N’Diaye, Hernandez

Subs: Meyler, Ranocchia, Maloney, Mbokani, Marshall, Niasse, Tyom.

Mignolet, Clyne, Lucas, Matip, Milner, Henderson, Can, Lallana, Coutinho, Mane, Firmino

Subs: Karius, Gomez, Moreno, Alexander-Arnold, Wijnaldum, Origi, Sturridge

Lucas and Can???? This does not bode well at all. Lucas is too gung-ho at giving away free kicks just outside the box and Can is simply not up to supporting the team pace…..
