By on February 11, 2017

Arsenal got back to winning ways after grinding out a much-needed 2-0 victory over Hull City at the Emirates today with Alexis Sanchez scoring both goals.

After an open start that saw us squander a number of chances, we finally broke the deadlock as Alexis Sanchez was hand to bundle the ball home from close range following a scramble on the line – although replays showed the ball had rebounded off the Chilean international’s hand in to the net.

We continued to dominate but were struggling to create many clear-cut chance to put the game to bed, while Hull were looking a threat as the game went on.

However, we were awarded a late penalty when Lucas Perez saw his goal-bound header cleared off the line by Clucas. The Hull man was dismissed and Sanchez made no mistake from the spot to make it 2-0 in the 92nd minute.

The win ensures we are back to winning ways following two defeats to Watford and Chelsea while we climb up to third in the table, level on points with second-placed Tottenham.
