Chelsea extended their lead at the top of the Premier League table to 11 points after beating Swansea City 3-1 at Stamford Bridge this afternoon.

It started well for the Blues as Cesar Fabregas opened the scoring in the 19th minute before Swansea levelled things up on the stroke of half-time when Fernando Llorente powered a header home in first half stoppage time.

The game’s turning point came when a howler from Luzakz Fabianski allowed a 20-yard Pedro shot to squirm under his body in the 70th minute to gift Chelsea the lead.

Antonio Conte’s men then wrapped up another vital three points when Diego Costa volleyed home following excellent work from Eden Hazard in the 84th minute to secure a 3-1 win.

The victory sees Chelsea move 11 points clear of second-placed Manchester City – although Tottenham could close the gap to 10 points if they beat Stoke on Sunday.
