Liverpool are ready to test Inter Milan’s resolve with a £30m bid for Ivan Perisic as Jurgen Klopp looks to be reunited with the winger at Anfield, according to a report in the Mirror.
Perisic worked under Klopp during their time at Borussia Dortmund and enjoyed a two-year spell with Wolfsburg before joining Inter Milan in the summer of 2015.
The Croatian international attracted interest from the Premier League last summer after an impressive Euro 2016 campaign but he decided remain in Italy and has continued to produce fine performances this season.
Perisic has scored 9 goals and provided a further 7 assists in his 33 appearances to help Inter challenge for Champions League qualification and it seems his form has caught the eye on Merseyside.
The Mirror are citing reports coming from Italy that claim Klopp is keen to be reunited with Perisic at Anfield this summer and Liverpool are ready to test Inter’s resolve with a £30m offer.
The Italian giants are under no immediate pressure to cash-in any time soon as the winger is under contract until 2020 so it remains to be seen how Liverpool’s bid will be received at the San Siro.
Klopp is expected to further strengthen his squad this summer and Perisic is the quality of player the Reds need to target if they qualify for the Champions League next season.

The Croat is predominantly a left-winger but he’s capable of playing anywhere across the attacking positions so I think he’d be a very useful signing for Liverpool if they manage to get a deal agreed.
