St Andrews has not been a very good ground for us Gunners. The last time we went there we conceded a last-minute goal due to reason we know very well, and previous to that visit one of our former players career in England got ruined.. But lets not dwell that much on the past but rather the present.
Here are the last 5 results over there:
27/03-10 Premier League Birmingham vs. Arsenal 1:1
23/02-08 Premier League Birmingham vs. Arsenal 2:2
04/02-06 Premier League Birmingham vs. Arsenal 0:2
15/05-05 Premier League Birmingham vs. Arsenal 2:1
22/11-03 Premier League Birmingham vs. Arsenal 0:3
We have picked up 8 out of a maximum of 15 points, and after the draw at the DW stadium on Wednesday Arsenal require nothing less than 3 points at St.Andrews..
“We get back Song, Fabregas – who was suspended – and Van Persie,” said Wenger.
“They will be back in the squad.“We lose Diaby for a calf strain, [he will miss] three weeks approximately.”
“The squad will be approximately the squad that has gone to Wigan.”
Abou Diaby (calf-strain) rejoins the injury list after 2 matches, and the usual names in that ‘damn list’ have not gone away yet – Tommy-V, Almunia, Gibbs & Frimpong.

I feel the squad shall remain unchanged with regards to the one which played against the champions on monday. All players on the bench barring Szcesny played against Wigan and following AW 2 day policy, they all should be rested. Song, Jack, Nasri, and Theo also did play but they were brought on later ( barring Jack..)

i agree on the squad except for the goalie! Woj is the best goalie in the squad and should play. Lukas is good but he still has problems with the high ball, his judgement on where that corner was going was shocking. he should have known it was flying long and stayed in the middle and claimed the cross header
other than that i agree with the team…we need a little squad consistency too! and i feel that cost the gunners last outing
why didn’t no brainer wanger play this team ( without cesc ) against wigan? knobhead wanger should leave.
it wil be 6 years without a trophy soon.
i have no words to say b/s i am disappointed.
