[Video Goals] Chelsea 3-0 Middlesbrough: Blues Put One Hand On The Title

Chelsea put one hand on the Premier League title after easing to a 3-0 victory over Middlesbrough at Stamford Bridge this evening.

The Blues opened the scoring midway through the first half when Diego Costa cooly slotted home his 20th league goal of the season after being picked out by Cesc Fabregas at the far post.

Chelsea then doubled their advantage in the 34th minute when Cesar Azpilicueta found Marcos Alonso in the area and the full-backs effort the a tight angle found it’s way in to the back of the net thanks to some poor goalkeeping from Brad Guzan.

A 3-0 win was then wrapped up in the 65th minute as Fabregas played-in Nemanja Matic with a superb pass and the midfielder lashed home through Guzan’s legs.

The victory sees Chelsea move seven points clear of Tottenham with three games left to play and they can secure the title if they beat West Brom on Friday night.
