Wenger To Make 2 Key Changes: Predicted Arsenal XI To Face Everton

Arsenal will look for a win to give ourselves any chance of snatching fourth place when we take on Everton at the Emirates on Sunday afternoon.

Here is the side Gooner Mac thinks Arsene Wenger will select for the game:

Goalkeeper: Petr Cech continued his excellent recent form with another solid display during the win over Sunderland in midweek so no doubt he’ll once again start in goal with David Ospina on the bench.

Defence: Laurent Koscielny is facing a late fitness test on a niggling Achilles injury which kept him out of the game on Tuesday night but I’m sure Wenger will give his skipper every chance to prove his availability so I think the French international will return to the side.

Rob Holding is probably the man most likely to make way as Nacho Monreal adds balance to the back three with his left foot and Shkodran Mustafi should keep his place on the right.

Midfield: If Monreal remains at the back then Kieran Gibbs should continue in the left wing-back position while Hector Bellerin will retain his place on the right with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain still nursing a hamstring injury.

Aaron Ramsey has been passed fit despite limping off against Sunderland with a calf issue so he should continue alongside Granit Xhaka in midfield with the likes of Francis Coquelin and Mohamed Elneny options from the bench.

Attack: Alexis Sanchez showed no sign of his thigh problem against Sunderland after scoring both goals during the 2-0 win so he should be fit to keep his place in attack alongside Mesut Ozil – who was outstanding on Tuesday night.

Olivier Giroud endured a frustrating night at the Emirates in midweek so I expect Wenger to recall Danny Welbeck with the England international leading the line up front.

The likes of Theo Walcott, Alex Iwobi and Lucas Perez will have to once again make do with places on the bench.

Here is how I think we’ll see Arsenal line-up:
