Striker Offers Update On Future Amid Reports Of £123m Arsenal Bid

Kylian Mbappe has admitted he doesn’t know if he’ll stay at Monaco this summer amid reports Arsenal have tabled a world record £123m bid for services

Managers are now pressing ahead with their plans for the summer transfer window so we’ll bring you all the latest news and gossip from around the globe. Today, Kylian Mbappe has spoken out about his future….

Kylian Mbappe has admitted he doesn’t know if he’ll stay at Monaco this summer amid reports Arsenal have tabled a world record £123m bid for services, according to the Express.

Mbappe is the hottest property in world football after scoring 24 goals and setting up a further 14 for his team mates to help fire Monaco to the Ligue 1 title last season.

The 18-year-old has attracted interest from a whole host of top clubs including the likes of Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain but it appears Arsene Wenger is also doing all he can to lure the striker to England.

The Express are citing a report from Marca earlier this week that claimed Arsenal have tabled a sensational offer worth £123m after the boss reportedly held a three-hour meeting with Mbappe and his representatives.

It’s unclear whether Monaco have responded to the supposed bid but president Vadim Vasilyev is determined not to see their talented young squad dismantled this summer.

However, the French champions are expected to cash-in if Mbappe makes it clear he wants to leave and the teenager has now admitted he doesn’t know if he’ll commit his future to the club.

Mbappe is currently at Monaco’s pre-season training camp in the Swiss Alps and when asked about his future, the striker is quoted by the Express as saying:

“I don’t know if I will stay.”

It’s certainly going to be interesting to see what decision Mbappe comes to but obviously it would be a sensational coup if Arsenal could somehow lure him to the Emirates this summer.

However, I personally think we might see the youngster opt to stay at Monaco for another year to cement his place in the France squad for the 2018 World Cup then move to Madrid next summer.
