Conte Makes 3 Changes As Duo Return: Predicted Chelsea Line-Up vs Tottenham

Chelsea will look to bounce back from their opening weekend disappointment when they take on Tottenham at Wembley on Sunday afternoon.

Here is the side we think Antonio Conte will pick for the game:

Goalkeeper: Thibaut Courtois will have been disappointed to concede three goals against Burnley last weekend so he’ll be looking to make up for that with a more resolute defensive display this weekend.

Defence: Conte will be without skipper Gary Cahill after he was shown a straight red card last weekend so Cesar Azpilicueta is set to drop back in to the defence after playing on the wing against Burnley.

Antonio Rudiger made his debut last week following his summer move and he’s expected to keep his place alongside David Luiz at the back against Tottenham.

Midfield: Victor Moses returns from his suspension so he should resume his role at right wing-back while Marcos Alonso will continue on the opposite flank.

Conte confirmed at his press conference today that Tiemoue Bakayoko is in contention and he may be forced to rush the French international in to action having only recently recovered from a knee injury.

Cesc Fabregas is suspended after being sent off last weekend for two bookable offences so Bakayoko could make his debut alongside N’Golo Kante in midfield.

Attack: Alvaro Morata came off the bench to open his account for Chelsea during the defeat to Burnley so the Spaniard is pushing to make his full debut this weekend.

Pedro is struggling to even make the bench after feeling discomfort in his ankle at training today while Eden Hazard is also a major doubt despite stepping-up his recovery from a broken ankle this week.

Michy Batshuayi could therefore keep his place in attack and perhaps even partner Morata up front with Willian offering support behind the strike duo.

Diego Costa isn’t available for selection as he continues to look for a move out of Stamford Bridge after being exiled from the squad.

Here is how we think Chelsea will line-up:
