Arsenal will play their first Europa League game in 17 years when we welcome Bundesliga outfit Cologne to the Emirates tonight.

Arsene Wenger has rung the changes from the side that beat Bournemouth last weekend with David Ospina coming in between the sticks and Per Mertesacker recalled in defence.

Rob Holding also comes in to the back-line while Mohamed Elneny gets a rare run-out in midfield. Youngster Ainsley Mailtand-Niles gets a chance to impress with Reiss Nelson among the substitutes.

Alex Iwobi looks to be playing in a central midfield role with Theo Walcott and Alexis Sanchez supporting Olivier Giroud in attack. Jack Wilshere is only named on the bench but he’ll be hoping to get some game-time.

Here are the confirmed line-ups:

Arsenal

Ospina, Mertesacker, Holding, Monreal, Bellerin, Elneny, Maitland-Niles, Iwobi, Walcott, Sanchez, Giroud.

Subs: Macey, Wilshere, Mustafi, Reine-Adelaide, Kolasinac, Akpom, Nelson

Cologne
