Arsenal will be looking to book their place in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup when we take on Doncaster at the Emirates on Wednesday night.

Here is the side Gooner Mac thinks Wenger will select for the game:

Goalkeeper: Petr Cech returned for the 0-0 draw at Chelsea on Sunday afternoon but our number one is expected to be rested with David Ospina coming back in-between the sticks.

Defence: Wenger has confirmed he’ll make plenty of changes to his starting eleven as he plans to field a side similar to the one that beat Cologne in the Europa League last week.

Calum Chambers is set to make his first appearance of the season while Per Mertesacker and Rob Holding are also expected to be involved with Laurent Koscielny, Nacho Monreal and Shkodran Mustafi all rested.

Midfield: It will be all-change in midfield with Hector Bellerin, Sead Kolasinac, Aaron Ramsey and Granit Xhaka all expected to be given the night off.

Wenger has confirmed that Jack Wilshere will make his first start for Arsenal in over 13 months as he looks to salvage his career at the club following another fractured leg injury.

Mohamed Elneny should line-up alongside Jack in midfield while youngsters Reiss Nelson and Ainsley Maitland-Niles should be given chances to impress in the wing-back roles.

Attack: Mesut Ozil will once again miss out due to a minor knee injury that kept him out of the Chelsea game while Alexandre Lacazette is set for a rest.

Danny Welbeck has been ruled out for around a month with a groin injury that he suffered at Stamford Bridge so he won’t be involved until after the international break.

Alexis Sanchez may get a few more minutes to help build his fitness but I’d be surprised to see him start so we could see Alex Iwobi keep his place with Theo Walcott coming in to the attack.

Olivier Giroud is almost certain to get another chance to impress up front in the absence of Lacazette while youngster Chuba Akpom could be on the bench.

Here is how I think we’ll see Arsenal line-up:
