Arsenal shareholder and television presenter Piers Morgan took aim at Arsene Wenger and Mesut Ozil after our 3-1 defeat at Manchester City this afternoon.

Kevin De Bruyne opened the scoring for City midway through the first half at the Etihad Stadium before Sergio Aguero made it 2-0 shortly after the break thanks to a contentious penalty.

We pulled one back through substitute Alexandre Lacazette but City sealed a 3-1 win in controversial circumstances after Gabriel Jesus swept home after being set-up by David Silva, even though the City playmaker was a yard offside.

Many fans felt aggrieved at two big decisions going against us as we were certainly in the ascendancy to find an equaliser when City were gifted the decisive third goal in the 74th minute.

Wenger was fuming during his post match interview where he slammed the officials for killing the game and ending Arsenal’s hopes of getting something from the game.

However, one fan who wasn’t interested in Wenger’s excuses anymore is Morgan – who is extremely vocal with his Arsenal views on Twitter and is seriously in the ‘WengerOut’ camp.

The television presenter, who is a life-long Arsenal fan and shareholder in the club, felt Arsenal were outclassed in every department by City today and correctly predicted Wenger would lay blame at the referee, and he made his feelings clear by including a ‘Wenger Out’ image with his message.

Morgan also said Arsenal are being run by a bunch of ‘deluded clowns’ and claimed we should sell Mesut Ozil in January as he feels the playmaker is no longer interested in playing for Arsenal following a disappointing display at City.
