Harry Kane scored again but it wasn’t enough as Tottenham were held to a 1-1 draw by West Bromwich Albion at Wembley this afternoon.

The visitors got off to the perfect start as Soloman Rondon out-muscle Davinson Sanchez to score the opening goal in just the 4th minute after Dele Alli was robbed of possession in the middle of the park.

Spurs dominated possession for much of the game but struggled to find their best form and the Baggies were causing plenty of problems for the hosts on the break.

However, Tottenham eventually found the equaliser as Alli made amends for his early mistake by setting up Kane with a pin-point cross and the striker converted at the front post to make it 1-1 in the 74th minute.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men pushed for a late winner but West Brom held on to secure a point so Spurs will drop out of the top four if either Arsenal or Liverpool win their game in hand.
