February is always one of the more intriguing months of the Premier League calendar. With just a handful of games remaining after this month, we always know which sides are going to need to lift their performances to escape relegation or secure that top four spot and although Manchester City appear to have one hand on the Premier League title already, there’s still plenty to play for and some huge matches to be played this month.

The first mouthwatering fixture of the month sees Tottenham Hotspur take on Liverpool in what is bound to be a vital clash in the race of the top four. Spurs ran out 4-1 winners in the reverse fixture at Wembley Stadium but the Lilywhites haven’t managed to win in their last seven trips to Anfield in all competitions. The quality of attacking players like Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane will cause the visitors all sorts of problems and secure a 3-1 home victory for the Reds.

Less than a week later Mauricio Pochettino’s men take on another almighty challenge in the shape of their arch rivals Arsenal. The North London derby at the Emirates Stadium finished in a 2-0 victory for the Gunners, but they’ll find things harder at Wembley as they continue to adjust to life without Alexis Sanchez. They’ve picked up just one point in their last three away league matches against Tottenham and have struggled on the road all season so we fancy Spurs to battle through for a narrow 2-1 win here.

After a break for the FA Cup, the Gunners face another tough test in the Premier League on Sunday the 25th February as champions elect Manchester City make the trip to the capital. The Citizens have just been fantastic throughout this campaign, but this fixture comes in the middle of their two-legged UCL clash with Basel, so one eye may be on that fixture instead and as such, they’ll probably be happy to take a 1-1 draw from this trip to North London.

Manchester United and Chelsea also face off that day at Old Trafford and this match will have huge implications on the chase for the top four, as well as an intriguing battle of wits in the dugout between Antonio Conte and Jose Mourinho, who have been involved in a fascinating slanging match in the press of late. The Blues have a fine recent record against the Red Devils, losing just one of the last 14 meetings between the two sides in all competitions. We can see another 1-1 draw in this fixture.

Over at FootballTips.com we publish daily correct score tips that usually offer great value, particularly on the weekend when there are usually two Premier League bets for both Saturday and Sunday. Combining two correct score tips can often make for odds of over 100/1 and given that we had quite a few winners last year, it makes sense to join us on the chase for more profit in February 2018!
