Arsenal will look to bounce back from their Europa League defeat when they take on Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday afternoon.

Here is the side Gooner Mac thinks Arsene Wenger will select for the game:

Goalkeeper: The boss has already confirmed that David Ospina will keep his place in goal having played in every round en route to the final so Petr Cech will have to make-do with a place on the bench.

Defence: The defence was all over the place during the shock Europa League defeat to Ostersunds on Thursday night so it’s safe to assume there will be changes at the back.

Laurent Koscielny and Shkodran Mustafi were both rested in midweek so they should be recalled with Calum Chambers and Rob Holding making way following disappointing displays.

Sead Kolasinac scored our goal against the Swedish minnows but he’s still expected to drop out with Nacho Monreal returning at left-back while Hector Bellerin should keep his place at right-back.

Midfield: Aaron Ramsey is expected to be passed fit after recovering from a groin injury that’s kept him out of the last three games so the Welshman should come straight back in to the midfield.

Granit Xhaka is also set for a recall to the starting eleven after coming off the bench in midweek but it will be interesting to see who Wenger goes with as the third central midfielder.

Mohamed Elneny has featured regularly of late so he’ll no doubt be in Wenger’s thoughts but Jack Wilshere is likely to be given the nod despite playing of Thursday night.

Attack: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is set for a recall up front after being ineligible in midweek and the Gabon international will be a welcome addition as Danny Welbeck had a night to forget against Ostersunds.

Mesut Ozil is expected to be passed fit to start after recovering from a sickness bug that kept him out of training last week and Wenger will be looking to his German playmaker for inspiration tomorrow afternoon.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan won’t feature against City as he’s cup tied having played in the Carabao Cup for Man Utd earlier in the season so Alex Iwobi could keep his place in attack.

Here is how I think we’ll see Arsenal line-up:
