“Just Go” – Arsenal Shareholder Sends Clear Message To Arsene Wenger After Cup Defeat

By on February 25, 2018

Arsenal shareholder and celebrity TV presenter Piers Morgan has once again taken aim at Arsene Wenger after we slumped to a disappointing 3-0 defeat to Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final this evening.

A shocking mistake from Shkodran Mustafi gifted City the opening goal in the 18th minute and they doubled their lead shortly after the break through Vincent Kompany.

Arsenal barely offered a response and Pep Guardiola’s side wrapped-up a comfortable 3-0 win when David Silva fired home midway through the second half.

It was a bitterly disappointing performance from Arsenal as we were totally out-played by City for the majority of the game and they didn’t even have to be at their best to lift the cup at Wembley.

Understandably, after such a poor display, there have been calls for Wenger’s head again and Morgan is leading the way after taking to Twitter to demand the Frenchman leaves the club.

Morgan is a life-long Arsenal fan who owns shares in the club and he’s extremely vocal of his desire for Wenger to go so it’s no surprise that he’s taken aim at the boss following today’s defeat.

Only time will tell whether Morgan and a growing number of Arsenal fans will get their wish but there is virtually no chance Wenger will leave before the end of the season so any change in management will have to wait until the summer.

Here is what Morgan had to say on Twitter:

Wenger is just embarrassing .Mr.Wenger, you are now too old to coach a popular team like Arsenal. You should be coaching Aston Villa instead.

What do you expect from a man(Arsene wenger) who rarely tells himself the truth and has no iota of shame in him.Though you can’t possibly blame him but the bunch of spectators decorated as the Arsenal board of directors who sits and do nothing.Arsenal fc is already a sinking ship who can do more without outdated arsene and his tactical naivety to modern football.Pls do well and let go of him,the better for this club.Gunners for life
