By on March 3, 2018

Tottenham cemented their position in the top four of the Premier League with a comfortable 2-0 victory over Huddersfield at Wembley this afternoon.

Spurs started well and opened the scoring midway through the first half when Hueng-min Son beat the offside to round Jonas Lossl and stroke home for 1-0 in the 28th minute.

The South Korean international doubled Tottenham’s lead shortly after half-time as Son headed home from six yards following a superb 55th minute cross from Harry Kane.

Tottenham continued to dominate in the second half but they spurned further chances to increase the score-line as they eased to a comfortable 2-0 win.

The victory sees Tottenham climb up to third in the table ahead of Liverpool’s clash with Newcastle tonight while fifth-placed Chelsea are now five points behind.
