French Attacker Considering Move To Arsenal – Wenger Wants Him To Partner Aubameyang

By on March 13, 2018

The transfer window is closed but managers are working hard on their plans for the summer so we’ll bring you all the latest gossip from around the globe. Today, Ousmane Dembele is linked with Arsenal…

Ousmane Dembele is considering a stunning move to Arsenal this summer as he feels he’s not being given enough support at Barcelona, according to reports in Spain via the Express.

Dembele made his name in Germany during a spell at Borussia Dortmund before joining Barca in a £94m move last summer but his time in Spain hasn’t gone according to plan.

The 20-year-old has missed the majority of the season with a serious thigh injury and has struggled to force his way in the Ernesto Valverde’s first team plans since returning to full fitness in January.

It’s led to speculation that Dembele could already be on the move with Calciomercato reporting last month that the attacker has been identified as a key summer transfer target by Arsene Wenger.

The boss is under pressure to revamp his squad following a hugely disappointing campaign and it seems Wenger is hoping to reunite Dembele with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang after the pair enjoyed a close relationship during their time in Dortmund.

It looks like we’ve been handed a huge boost in our pursuit as the Express are citing a report from Diario Gol that claims Dembele is considering a move to Arsenal this summer as he feels he hasn’t got the support of Lionel Messi or Luis Suarez at the Nou Camp.

The Spanish publication suggests Dembele is being forced out at Barcelona and is open to the idea of moving to the Emirates even if we aren’t able to offer him any Champions League football next season.

However, we may face competition for the Frenchman’s signature as the report says Atletico Madrid are also keen and Barca could be tempted to use Dembele as bait to land Antoine Griezmann this summer.

We’ll have to wait and see how things progress over the coming weeks but I’d love to see Dembele come to Arsenal as he’s a huge talent who would be a major asset to the squad if we could win the race for his signature.
