Arsenal will be looking to finish the job and book their place in the semi-finals of the Europa League when we take on CSKA Moscow on Thursday night.

Arsene Wenger has been speaking to the media at his pre-match press conference this evening and he’s provided a team news and injury update ahead of the game.

The boss has confirmed a fresh fitness blow with the news that Granit Xhaka hasn’t travelled to Russia and will miss the game tomorrow night due to flu.

It leaves us short in midfield so Mohamed Elneny is expected to start in the holding role with Jack Wilshere and Aaron Ramsey joining the Egyptian international in the middle of the park.

Goalkeeper David Ospina is out due to an ankle injury that he suffered earlier this month while Ainsley Maitland-Niles is set to miss out with a minor muscle problem that kept him out of the win over Southampton.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan has been ruled out for around a month with a knee ligament injury that he sustained in the first leg last week while Santi Cazorla is still working his way back from a serious Achilles problem.

With Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang ineligible in Europe, it means Arsene will be without six of his first team squad for the Europa League quarter-final clash tomorrow night.

However, we should still have more than enough quality available to get a positive result at CSKA and book our place in the last four of the competition.

The Russians looked a poor side in the first leg last week and we could easily have scored six or seven so hopefully we can get the job done tomorrow and take another step towards the final.
