Manchester United will look to end the Premier League campaign on a positive note when they take on Watford at Old Trafford this afternoon.

Jose Mourinho has made several changes from the team that drew at West Ham in midweek with Michael Carrick captaining the side for the last time before his retirement.

Sergio Romero comes in for a rare start in goal with David De Gea rested while Matteo Darmian, Daley Blind, Eric Bailly and Marcos Rojo also get recalls in defence.

Scott McTominay lines-up alongside Carrick in midfield as Paul Pogba drops to the bench while Juan Mata joins Alexis Sanchez in attack with Jesse Lingard making way.

Marcus Rashford gets a recall up front in the absence of the injured Romelu Lukaku but there is no place for Anthony Martial in the matchday squad as he’s picked up a knock.

Here are the confirmed line-ups:

Man Utd

Romero, Darmian, Young, Blind, Rojo, Bailly, Carrick, McTominay, Mata, Sanchez, Rashford.

Subs: Pereira, Jones, Shaw, Valencia, Herrera, Pogba, Lingard.

Watford

Gomes; Janmaat, Cathcart, Kabasele, Holebas; Doucouré, Hughes; Deulofeu, Pereyra, Richarlison; Gray.

Subs: Bachmann, Prödl, Mariappa, Chalobah, Lukebakio, Sinclair, Deeney.
